MINUTES REGULAR MEETING
CAUCUS ROOM TOWN HALL May 6, 2014
Members present: Chair Virginia Macro, Sandy Jeski, Gary Pitcock, Walter FitzPatrick
Members absent: Peter Jennings
Alternates present: Caroline Taylor, Katherine Foley, Louise Evans
Alternates absent: none
CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Chairperson Macro called the meeting to order at 7:39 p.m. and appointed Katherine Foley to sit-in for Peter Jennings.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
None
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS
A motion to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of April 1, 2014, with the following correction: Alternate Members attending were Katherine Foley and Louise Evans; Alternate Member absent was Caroline Taylor, was made by Gary Pitcock, seconded by Walter FitzPatrick. The motion carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS
- Commissioner Pitcock reported that the East Hartford Historic District Commission would be interested in a joint Historic District on Long Hill Road.
OLD BUSINESS
- The by-laws were reviewed. There are several issues that require additional research.
- The application for “Certified Local Government” has been submitted to the State for approval.
ADMINISTRATION
- The next meeting will be June 10, 2014 at 7:30 pm.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion to adjourn was made at 9:37 by Commissioner Pitcock, seconded by Commissioner Jeski and approved unanimously.
